Origami Travel Notebook Zoom Workshop

A Perfect book for your upcoming travels! This magical origami book can be used for a pamphlet book cover as well as signatures in a paper case bound book. You will master the folding technique first and then will sew both a pamphlet book and the case book that will have multiple pockets for storing notes, tickets, drawings and secret messages. This is a wonderful structure for a travel book, sketchbook, artists’ book or journal.

There will be NO kit - but rather I will guide you through gathering the tools and materials that you will need to create a successful book during the workshop and in the future with materials that are accessible to you.

Students will need the following tools: mat knife, awl, bone folder, ruler, sewing needle.

Students will need the following materials: sturdy paper for the book cover, paper for the origami pamphlet, paper for the pages, pencil, thread for binding.

Finished project is approximately: 6 ¼ x 5 x 1

The workshop will be recorded and available for one month following the workshop.
